How it works
About Us
We are based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
We provide pet owners with a low cost, online Animal Health Certificate (AHC) service.
We comply with the official pet travel regulations.
A valid AHC enables an owner to travel with their cats, dogs or ferrets to the EU, Switzerland and Norway.

Official Veterinary Surgeon
Alyson Moor BVM&S MRCVS is our official veterinary surgeon (OV).
She is registered by the UK Government's Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) to complete pet export certificates.
Alyson has over 25 years experience working as an OV in small animal veterinary practice.
Animal Health Certificates AHCs
An AHC is required when you take your pet dog, cat or ferret to the EU and N Ireland. The document is issued by an Official Veterinarian (OV).
Each pet must be microchipped and have a valid rabies vaccine. The rabies vaccine must be given at least 21 days before travel with day zero as the vaccination day. The OV must check and validate that these requirements have been met and that the pet is fit to travel.
The AHC can be issued within 10 days of travel. They are valid for up to 4 months of onward travel in the EU and re entry into the UK. Norway and Switzerland also accept AHCs.
There are certain ports of entry available for pet travel into the EU. The owner needs to check that they are travelling through a correct port of entry.
Before returning to the UK dogs must be given a tapeworm treatment 24-120 hours before re entry. This must be given by an EU veterinarian and recorded on the AHC.
A tapeworm treatment also needs to be completed 24-120 hours before dogs travel to Norway, Finland, Malta and NI and recorded on the AHC by the UK veterinarian.
We would ask you to complete our questionnaire and we would request rabies vaccination details from your regular veterinary surgeon.
